Are the belts suppsed to make noise? Its made noise since the second i moved it at the dealer and still does now after 47 miles. It dosent sound like its slipping. Im guessing if it was slipping it would sound like a slipping serpintine belt on a car? When i do the first service im going to open up the cvt, what sould i look for to ensure the belt is healthy?

Define noise? If it is just a winding noise then that's normal. You can esp hear them on the xmrs due to the intake/outtake snorkeled to the top. For checking the belt, just look it over and look for any shiny spots on the side of the belt where possibly it burnt the belt. Additionally, you can look for cracks, fraying, or splits.

Exactly, its a winding noise. It dosent sound like is wrong just not used to it since i came from a shaft driven 5 speed atv. Sounds cool. When ur bike is in neutral or park you can hear it to right?
