I have an 2007 outlander 500xt and sometimes I will start it and let it idle to warm up and it will die sometimes and it won't start you have to crank and crank on it then it finally fires up and runs rough for a second then you let off the throttle and it idles fine it had done this twice to me in a month do you think I'm having fuel pump issues or something more major?

Check your fuel pressure. Should be 51psi across the board. Also check that your battery terminals are clean and tight. My 800 was having similar symptoms and it was a loose terminal.

2006 Outlander 800
2007 Honda FourTrax 450 Trail Edition
2007 GMC Canyon 3.7 4 inch lift on 33s
2002 Yamaha TTR125
Where do I check fuel pressure at are there diagnostic receptacles and if so where are they
Place the test tee anywhere in line, I replace fuel filter then place tee in front of filter. 51psi through out test. At key on, idle, and under load; I would also check battery connections are clean and tight, sounds dumb but you'd be surprised how common it is; check your voltage to( could be battery is a little weak too all symptoms not always from one issue) also clean out throttle body, if idle bypass (not sure that's the proper name but...) is not clear that will cause poor idle/ stalling. Always check plugs they can tell u a lot too. Let us know how test goes
