Outlander display swap

it may be a stupid question ....... but did someone try to put a 2020 display in a older G2 outy ???

currently running this one but it stopped working , sometimes it shows random numbers but mostly blank . I know the pre 2018 XT-P and XMR displays work.

The plugs are different on the new ones vs old dashes. Im sure it is possible but this is the easiest and best upgrade.

It is possible. Since the connector is different, I would get a pigtail connector, control switch, and get the schematics for your machine and the 2020 machine. Splice the wires to match and good to go.
I have the schematics uploaded in the manuals thread in this forum.
