Hi everybody. I am new in the forum. I would like to ask something. Yesterday i was discussing with a friend about the plus and minus of outalnder regarding the polaris 850 sportsman. He was stating that the outlander XMR or or XT-P has "shorter" transmision in comparison to the normal version of the outlander. Can anybody advice if this is true???

The whole discussion occured from a video of a drag race in dirt between an outlander XT-P and a polaris sportsman 850. The outlander won offcourse but my friend said it won due to a shorter transmission.

Xt-p won because it's just faster!

The XT-P has standard gears. The XMR is geared lower to compensate for the 30" Backs.

I may be wrong, but I believe it's in the service manual? I know I saw it from a reputable source. Can't remember exactly where.
