Is there a diagram/picture of how the plastics all come off? Is there any certain order? Are the tabs reusable? Anything special I should know about?

Yea, don't break the tabs off unless you wanna buy new panels. Find and remove all push rivets and bolts that prevent the panels from coming off, both front and rear. Some are inside the fender. You'll have to flex the panel into a curve to create the slack to get one end off.
Yeah, don't wreck those tabs. A special tool is made for taking them off but a set of small needle nose pliers or snap ring pliers help to do it fast. Most use a screwdriver or 2.
I bought a bag of 10 & keep them handy.

If you're asking about the side panels, There are 4 push rivets on each side. One under front fender, one under rear fender, one on top near handlebars and other at rear of seat. Plastics on XMR are 2 piece, I usually take the front tab out first since it seem easier and then separate front piece from the back black piece. Then remove the black piece.

The front wheel well plastics also have 4 rivets. It's in two pieces, 2 rivets in middle, one up front by winch and 4th is below the rivet for the side panel. I pull the front & rear push rivet, work the plastics around then pull the two in the middle then pull pull both pieces out.

Do yourself a favor and buy more push rivets if you plan to remove the panels often. I discovered the Honda ones are much cheaper than paying the CanAm tax. Haven't quite found the right one's on Amazon. I think I got a bag of 10 from RockyMtn for 6 or 7 buck.

Ordered these and they look/fit like the originals. Use them on the mav, outty and my friends rincon. Not bad for a dime a piece.
