Plow set up

Looking at getting a plow for my Outlander 450 should I go 50” 54” 60”

No. Those are no good. With those installed. There is nothing to keep the top of the spring from shifting.


You want ones like this (see attachment). You can make them yourself with 1.5" PVC couplers, with a small piece of 1.5" PVC inside, toward the top. That will fit the 450 shocks perfectly. And don't worry. PVC WILL hold up just fine. You'd be surprised. Paint them black for a neater look. I did this before I got my new shocks and it worked great.

Ive got a 60'' plow on my 570 renegade. Works great! I would install the 450 max rear springs on the front of yours to keep sag in control. I did that on my last outy. Worked great.

I’m glad you brought up the spring swap. I have often wondered if rear springs would fit the front shocks. I would think the rear springs from a regular outty would make a huge difference alone.
