Possible New outlander purchase

1699 Views 10 Replies 7 Participants Last post by  justin.howell.315
Im looking at a 14 outlander 1000 DPS

If I get it I would like to add some things

Is the factory snorkel kit good or is aftermarket better??
I like the clean look of the center pod.

Also is the factory rad relocate good or???

Otherthings on my list would be
Tires?
Wheels?
Winch?
Bumpers?

Thanks for any help

FYI I currently have a 13 850 and I'm keeping it.

Depending on what u want, might want to look at the xt
X2
Are you wanting an xmr? From the sound of it seams like u want a stock outlander and build it into an xmr??
That's what's available for a good price.
All an xt has extra is winch bumpers and hand guards.

An XMR is longer heavier and way more money.
If your getting the 14 on a steal then go for it. The dealerships in my area offer a 15% discount on parts the day you purchase unit. If you can get a discount on parts get the parts you want and see if u can get a free install. For wheels and tires I would get online pricing and then see if dealer can match?
13k msrp
10k cash price

That's a really good price...I just got a 15 Outlander Max 650 XT in brushed aluminum for $10,837 out the door (only sales tax included no dealer fees)

I like the factory rad and snorkel kits. Here's a pic of mine and it sounds about exactly what you are looking to build.

Here's a couple better pics of the BRP kits.

As far as a winch is concerned I would get one from MotoAlliance (site sponsor).

Tires and wheels are all up to your personal preference. My wheels have a 5+3 (R) and 3+3 (F) offset and make the overall stance about 3" wider than stock. I like the stability it provides but am considering mud guards.
