Got a small issue, Removed the QSC cleaned and re-greased the one way ( and yes it is working bearings all good ) replaced the washers on either side of the one way, replaced the pucks in the spider, cleaned everything, scuffed the surfaces and now... I have belt squeal in L, H or Reverse when I am sitting. Using a Maverick belt which has not made a peep to date. Running the QSC spring with the spacer ( silver with blue stripe ) and the STM secondary with 38 DEG EB helix and the green red striped QSC supplied spring. ( greased the one way with isoflex ) and no I did not over grease, I took it out and checked no grease on the clutch or the belt, :th_smiliefrustratedcan you help a brother out LOL
take belt cover off. start machine and let idle. looking straight down at primary, shut engine off. Does the primary move out(release) at all when engine is shut down?
I will try that tonight.
Yea it shouldn't be pinching the belt at all at idle.
Double check alignment as said already and double check that the primary is opening all the way. Probably something simple.
