Question about 2011 outlander 400 XT

I am looking at an outlander 400 XT for the wife. Found one for $7700 new, online...is that a fair price?

Asked the seller if it has power steering and he says "Yes".

I know for a fact the 2012 400s don't have PS...did they have it in 2011?

Has the frame issue for the outlanders, specifically the 400s been resolved for 2011? My wife loves to jump...she jumps her bearcat 454 all the time. I don't want a weak frame to collapse on her for obvious reasons.

Thanks in advance, never owned a can am, so figured I would come to the experts for advice.

400's never had and still don't have power steering.

As for jumping with the frame, the frames are not as weak as some people make them out to be. A good set of aluminum skid plates and your set.

That being said I'm not sure the front struts would hold up to much bashing?

My wife has had a 09 400xt since new. 1800 miles, 28" outlaws and 0 issues.
