Ok, waited almost 2 months to get my shocks in. I’m unfamiliar with Elka and purchased them due to the high recommendation here in the forum. They ask pretty specific questions when you purchase them which is a good thing and helps both you and Elka get a more tailored fit and requirement on the end users part.
I get them in yesterday and the instructions that came with them are for a 2019 Max XT 850. My question to the more experienced guys on the forums who have Elka suspension, do they just put instructions in the box that are close to what you have or what they may have lying around? I’ve got a 2020 650 Mossy Oak Hunters Edition. Just hard to believe after paying the amount I paid for the stage 3’s they would skimp on the instructions.I ordered directly from Elka Canada.
Anyway, this is by no means a rant or bash just trying to be more informed and understand better since I’m still very new to the Can Am line. This is my first Can Am purchase and my first Elka purchase.
Any info would be greatly appreciated.
Oh, and ya I get it, shocks are shocks lol. I know how to R&R them, just wanted to make sure I have the right ones before I got halfway through and realized they weren’t and I didn’t want to call Elka just yet and not ask the right questions because I didn’t have the proper knowledge.
Thanks guys
