i am trying to remove the rear trailing arms on my 06 outlander. i have the nuts off of the sway bar but now i am having trouble getting off the lever off thats before the spanner nut. ive had a puller on it and it broke before it would come off. anyone have any other suggestions as to how i can get these things off? trying to replace the bears in the swing arms.

Take a decent size punch and a decent size hammer, place the punch in the center of the swaybar, so that you're pushing the swaybar inward towards the opp and pound the swaybar through. Once the swaybar is loose from the key on that side, you just slide it out of the frame. A pneumatic air hammer with a round punch attachment make quick work of that job. Hope this helps
i will give that a try! both sides are ceased on pretty good! i dont think these trailing arms have ever been taken off so theres years of rust in there!
