was wondering what i can replace my 2012 xmr shocks with. love the air ride but am so sick of the air faults and the shock not functioning properly. what can i swap them with, wil regular outlander shocks or renegade shocks work? will my bike sit lower, i will need spring spacers? also run two up a lot on it where the air suspension is nice. will stock outlander or renegade shocks on my xmr work with two up also?

Regular outlander shocks are shorter than xmr shocks.

I thought the same but Don't think so......My Elkas were on my XT first then I put them on the XMR. They were perfect fit.

They should fit, but it'll be an inch lower. Or maybe they just have an inch more travel. Hmm...

I had thought about that. Small gauge and a valve on each. Hook the compressor up to a switch and just use that to set them where you want, but upgrading my shocks was the best thing I have done to this thing.
