Hey guys, I’m just wondering what the rpm should be at idle on a 2018 outlander 1000r. I start mine up and the idle is at 1400 -1500, and when I put it gear it jerks the atv forward and the same thing happens if I do it reverse, is there a way to adjust the rpm or is there something else going on.

My 23 850 idles exactly as stated above 1250~1300 RPM.
Yours seems (a tad) high to me as well .
Have you done any recent work like removing & cleaning the air filter ?
Any other work to the intake tract ?
I would be suspicious of an air leak . Are there any codes showing up ?

The secondary should gently rotate @ idle.
