yep..and i hit them all. there is no way to be 100 percent sure your not gonna get a ripped boot. only thing you can do is get skids.
i ripped an inner boot on first ride but none after i got skids.

I should have said the rear outer boots and cvc. On my 570L im getting skids for everything else. They dont make any for the outer rear due to the Trailing arms.

i think your right on that.
im not gonna worry about those, for now just the stockers.

This is after 1 summer. I wish I could weld aluminium I'd tack a strip in there.... guess I'll need a new bash plate
Damn that looks rough, I have them on my 06 and the front bash plate has a second strip welded to it like you mention. I'm surprised to see the new ones don't have this. I think I'm going to go with the IB for the new quad

Mines pretty fubar, had to straighten it.
But! They do their job, can only imagine the damage without.

Well the bottom of ricochet bash plate lips over the next piece giving 2 layers really... I spoke with them and they brought that to my attention. Makes sense.
Also.....! They are making a custom bash plate for me with that extra layer anyways !!! I'll be adding shock spacers keep me from bottoming out so much. I know not the best solution but will have to do.

you try tightening up your front, mine was in the middle and i hit real bad a couple times put a couple clicks tighter and its alot better now

I'm not even an American but I support North American products. Buying the can am skids is like saying ok can am you gave me no protection on this high end quad so I'll give you more money for something you could have squeezed into the build and maybe raised the price a few bills. My rant for the day...

Well guys i ordered my skid plates yesterday and i went with Rival They had them for 329.00 and then took 65.00 off that, but the shipping was 44.00 so i spent 307.42 for my 2016 570L Skid Plates. They are 4 mm aluminum . Im not a every weekend rider, they will probly do me just fine.
