well its time for me to upgrade my xmr again im thinking risers for the snorkels. So my ? is do i try to do it my self or just buy a kit:th_smiliepullhair: if i go with a kit which kit is best bang for $$$$ or if i do it it my self is there a write up already done on this ive searched in this forum and havent really found a write up any help would be greatly appreciated

Gen 1 or Gen 2 650, 800 or 1000 would help.

if some of yall that did ur own snorks on xmr could u post pics of how it comes out of the pod thank you

I did my own snorkels and its pretty easy to do I dont have any pics of how they come through the pod but all you do is put a hole saw on a drill and cut the holes where the risers would come through after that its just a matter of connecting pieces to get everything where you want it to be. It cost me about $60 to do it myself as opposed to a couple hundred to buy a snorkel kit

Once my warranty runs out I think I'll go with the pines power sports system set up or if the dealer tells me they'll keep warrenty only if they instal I'll get whayever they recommend but right now I won't do anything until break in period is over

i get how to connect the pipes coming out of the pod my question would be what do yall use to connect the hard pvc to the rubber intake snorkels thats already on the XMR or do u replace the entire thing?

Proper size pipe that fits in the rubber and hose clamp, silicone for extra protection, im in the same boat i want to do my own but trying to figure out how i want to run em and i want to make the pod easily removable, i noticed pines now cuts grooves for the outter snorkels vs . Drilling holes which i like the idea of

Yep that's why I'll go that route this way if u ever resell you can put original back on I mean I wouldn't buy a snorkled bike hard to tell what they've done to it
