SOLVED! Not enough space on battery terminals for aux devices

Looked around at distribution boxes (too big) and busbars (also too big) and finally decided to build my own "power distribution" device. Good from 0-30a.

These are prototype 1

Prototype 2 with have ultra low profile fuses 0-40a and be staggered on the lines so they sit side by side. It cost about 100 to build this as I needed 2x -crimpers, lugs, heavy duty heat shrink, silicon wires and terminators.

Gen 2 will be smaller and nicer and not cost as much. The uber-micro fuse holders are still very pricey at near $15ea. Cost to build gen 2 will be aprox $50.

Once I install it on the battery I will post more pics.

Should just get an Auxbeam 6 gang, much simpler and only one wire to connect. I have the 8 gang on my outlander during the winter for back up lights, light bar over the plow since it blocks the stock head lights, and lighted whips for plow edge markers.

HUH? One wire?
NEGATIVE Ghost Rider the pattern is full!

Lets quickly analyse what you said was simpler. While this would be a good idea for a side by side with 6 accys, it is not a good idead for an atv with no place to mount these things. Plus all areas near engine would melt the plastic.

Buy Auxbeam 6 gang $159
Buy Auxbeam *Optional silicone cover for 6 gang IP65 rating for dust resistance, not waterproof! $25
Buy 6 12ga positive cables to run from Auxbeam distribution box to aux accys. Factory harness is not long enough $20
Buy 6 12ga negative cables to run from distribution box to aux accys. $20
Buy termination ends from neg cables to neg cables on aux accys $8
Buy termination ends for positive cables to aux accys. $8

Now try to find someplace to install the huge busbar and huge auxbeam distribution box that is only ip65 dustproof not waterproof.

Run auxbeam power control wire to fuse box.
Run auxbeam touch-button control wire.
Run 6 hot wires to accys.
Run 6 neg wires to accys.
Find a mount to mount your dustproof-only 6 gang on handlebars or on plastic???
Run distribution box to box under seat by taillights, drill hole for wires.
Never pressure wash your atv or drive in rain or snow.

Not simple, not cheap, not one wire.

A few things.. good concept but you are going to run into corrosion issues where you have the 3 wires connected guaranteed. Agree with above and can get a multi gang bar much cheaper and all kinds of room to mount on my outlander. I understand the idea of waterproof but their is not a single fuse on these machines factory that are in a waterproof. Your pricing is way off i ordered a 15 pack of those fuse holders off amazon for $10, lugs i sell for a bout $4 each, wire is cheap by the roll, and if yu shop on amazon everything is way cheaper..
