New to me 2021 XMR. Would like a more comfortable ride for the trails, we don't do mudding. I plan to replace the mega mayhem tires with a trail tire and adjust the shocks to the least preload. Has anyone tried this and got decent results or are better shocks ( which ones) the only answer?

Lighter springs like the XT-P springs and a set of Elka stage 3 to stage 5 shocks. That would give you a softer ride and gives you adjustability on the shocks for your comfort.

Thanks for the info. First time riding today, tomorrow I'll adjust Springs to softest setting and see what's out there for a trail tire. If I still need better ride than ill do shocks and Springs.
