Anyone else have this issue on a new machine or was mine just built on a Friday? I noticed a clunking in the front of the machine over certain bumps. After my ride Saturday I noticed my handlebars move up and down about 1/4". Checked out the service manual and noticed that the only thing it could be is a loose bolt that clamps the splined stem to the splined shaft of the DPS unit. Only have 60 miles on the damn machine! Good thing it can't pull off completely without removing the bolt!

My 11 that I got new in 13 loosened very soon. I tightened it up and it has stayed tight since.

This happened to mine also around 1000km, mine wasn't loose to the point that the stem moved up and down, but was enough to have play when turning the bars. Looked everywhere and all was good, so lifted the boot that covers the upper shaft of the dps and the bolt wasn't loose but wasn't tight lol, so tightened the bolt up good and haven't had trouble since.
