Too damn old so I gave away the dirt bike. Still like to get out in the forest though. Outlander L 500 DPS seemed like the way to go. Lots of ATV areas in Central Oregon with desert or forest to choose from. Now that winter is on the run, I'm looking forward to getting out-- just picked up the Outlander today. I've learned that forums are the very best places to learn about new things-- looking forward to that, too.

Congrats on the new ride did you get it at Pro-Caliber in Bend that's where I bought my rigs.. than over East Fort Rock love to ride in Bend
Yep

Second machine from them. I live in Prineville, so riding central will be the Ochocos and Millican. It's a tough life with multiple ATV areas within 20 miles... Fort Rock is about 60 miles-- but I agree, it's a gorgeous place.
