Insurance company is in the deciding phase of if it gets fixed or totaled. $7100 to fix it, when dealer blue book is $6500 on current value of a '12 base renegade 1000. Just got off phone with bank and insurance agent to get the last black/yellow XXC I think in NYS!!!! Found 4 of the digi camo/green, but not overly crazy about it, plus its $500 more. New machine is still in the crate, so hopefully get to pick it up sometime next week. They are bout 2 hours away, so hope can get out of work early before they close, cause I don't think I can wait till next weekend!!!!:yahoo::th_smiliebanana2::th_smiliedance::th_smiliewoo:

Hope it works out for you!!
What did you do to cause $7100 in damage?
G/F and I went for a quick ride, she wanted to tell me something so I slowed down, while she sped up lil bit. She went past me, and when she turned to talk, she turned the bars and cut in front of me. My left front hit her right rear, flipping the machine over on the black top. Only doing bout 20 or so, but 800# landing on the blacktop is gonna do some damage. Mainly cause it landed all the weight on the grab bar, pushed it down like 6", and slightly pushing the frame forward. It was $4200 just in parts, and $2800 in labor. Even if it doesn't get totaled, buddy is hounding the shit out of me to buy it. So if they do fix it, I can tell them to cut me the check, sell the machine to my buddy, and after putting an exhaust on the new machine, give the g/f the rest to pay off a loan...
flipped mine in woods and did $1,7k to fix body until went to pick up and we (dealer and I) discovered motor blown, added about $4,5k to bill, frame not damaged bike good as new, almost, had insurance, unfortunately I was way less lucky month in hospital + several months of recovery, always well
Motor is still good on mine. Tho did get freaked when it was still running upside down, I had to shut it off. But I started it to load it on the truck, and the dealer starts it to take it in/out of the shop. Prolly don't run 100% since I took the controller, and there is an empty hole where the O2 sensor used to be. But the machine took most the damage, I only got a couple scrapes. Could have been much worse, I had my 8 year old daughter with me, and it could have landed on us/her....
