Throttle issue / backfire / bog

Was out riding this weekend , ran into an issue with my 1000 , once and awhile when I would drive into abit of a hole with water mud , and I'd hit the throttle to water wheelie , my quad began back firing /popping with some loss of power... Only did it sometimes when I was in the water , I was told to take apart all my electrical plugs and put dielectric grease in them ? Quads a 2014 outlander 1000 , any opinions to what's going on ? It's got a 2" lift , 29.5" outlaws , looney tuned slip on , run premium fuel and synthetic oils any help appreciated !
