Any guys with a shop manual know what the torque spec is (if any) for the castle nuts on the tie rod ends? Outlander 800 Max 2014

I would go until its tight and you can put the cotter pin through. So if you need to take it to the next notch it shouldnt be a problem. Even with a torque wrench you will probably have to do this.

This is what my shop manual says for 2012

Tie-rod lock nut, 25 lbf.ft +/-1
Tie-rod end retaining nut, 53 lbf.ft +/-5


but you'll probably find this works out better

I switched out the tie rod ends that came with the aftermarket tie rods. The boots are crap on the aftermarket ones; 2 of the 4 boots let dirt inside. It would only be a few rides before they seize up. The OEM ends are better.
