CAN AM 1000 max speed.

I have a 2012 CAN AM Commander Limited Rotax 1000. Unfortunately, I don't know how fast it goes with the black key, but the gray key is supposed to limit it to 44 MPH and the Orange key (which I don't have) is supposed to limit it to 25 MPH (normal construction site top speed).

It seems faster than my 2012 Brute Force 750 EPS and I had it clocked by a police officer. I saw a video on the internet that showed it going 81 or 82 MPH (it was a while ago and I don't remember). My speedometer said 83 MPH, but the police officer said it was 81 MPH. It might have something to do with rounding up and rounding down. In any event, I will never do that again. The Brute Force was sloppy and swaying. If it hadn't been for it being actually clocked by someone, I would have let off much sooner.

I haven't felt the need for speed with the Commander, but it definitely feels quicker and I believe faster, but a lot more stable doing so.:th_smiliedance:

 

70 with 2 people about 400 plus pounds on pavement stock tires. Fast enough.

 

All i know is its slower than my Wildcat LOL Sorry i had to do that

 

I had my 2011 1000cc up to 73 miles an hour one time that's plenty fast enough
