I usually don't take the time to write these types of posts but in this case I wanted to give my feed back.

I've have dealt with several different vendors/sales people/companies in all aspects and never felt the urge to single anyone out until now.

Through an ordering mistake made by myself when dealing with vforcejohn I accidently ordered the dual muzzy slip-on to a location that did not accept shipments VIA USPS unless you were registered at that post office to ship there prior to the package arriving.....

A side note, I live 45 form the US Border and several people ship to this location in Maine to save on shipping cost etc....

Anyway, the package got shipped back to John while he was away to the mud nationals. However, before he left he made several arrangements including family members and the post master at his local post office. In my mind going above and beyond the call of duty to insure I got my package as quickly as possible. :thumbsmilie:

To me, this is why some hobby communities work, and why some don't. vforcejohn gets my forever recommendation.

Thanks,
Trevor.

DID YOU GET THE PIPE YET?? I just got back in yesterday, so I haven't even checked on it. I had it send out last Thursday or Friday soon as it made it back to the shop.

Thanks for the compliment. I do try very hard....but that mail setup was a screw up for sure!!! I and my post master have never seen a US addressed business not accept USPS mail. Lesson learned there on both ends. Now i'll be sure to ask everyone that was doing the same thing and using a Border shipping service. I haven't had that ever happen in all the years I've been doing this, but you never know what's next.

so here's some helpful hints. it may help someone in the future.

#1 if you are from canada and shipping to USA address border service. Please be sure they will accept your package. (if not it becomes rather expensive and time consuming to get it back!!)

#2. If you ship to the address using a ground service, and they do not accept it.... you must PAY for return shipping back to the original shipper!! If you ship priority or special service it's returned FREE!!

#3. I do ship to canada and take care of the duty fees and taxes (so long as it's shipped my way) in the end it's far cheaper for everyone.

Thanks again for your patience and your business!!
