I have always like 32s better than 30s. I think they ride better than 30s. I really want to put 29.5 outlaw 2s on it!!!!!

Sweet!!!! I understand it might rub at full steer or if I bottom out. I think 32s ride and look a lot better. I would not mind running 31 skinnies or the new 29.5 outlaw 2s.

haha ya i am.. you think a 32 back is better cause you own them? last time i checked you still havent put your new law 2's on.. have you yet? how come your the only one who has both law 2's and 32 backs that thinks a 32 is better? everyone else thinks the law 2 is better except you lol.. or are you the kind of guy that thinks that it doesnt matter what tire it is but the taller tire will always win? cause if you think that you are sadly mistaken.

No need to question me... Last time I checked, I have both sets of tires... not you.

you can have all the sets of tires you want.. still have no more knowledge than me of which tire is better until you use and test both.. im making my opinions based on actual peoples data based off there tests that they have done comparing these 2 tires.. which is alot more accurate than just saying one tire is better than the other just because like what your doing.

So how do you know I havent ridden on the o2s?
Youre saying that your opinion is more accurate than mine because you read reviews and I own both sets...
Before you go ASSuming things maybe you should ask...

Ps, MY 32" silverbacks perform better than MY 29.5 outlaw 2's in the same situations. I don't feel I have to report to you or any forum after I ride on whatever tire I chose, so that might be why you didn't know I have indeed ridden on my laws ;)

I would expect 32s to do way better than a 29.5 tire but 29.5 vs 30 I like the ol2 better than the SBack . If you want a bada$$ mud tire try the motomonster. Running them on my LTD with a 6" lift, awesome tire.

You're exactly right Wes. Comparing 30's and smaller, the outlaw 2 pretty much dominates. For someone who doesn't have a problem turning 32s, the the backs will out do the laws in every category except paddling and ride quality.

I have yet to try the motomonsters but I never count them out. They are pretty much a mix between a 30 and 32 back. Size of the 30, with the lugs of the 32 and the weight somewhere inbetween. I am hoping Colorado components come out with this tire for a 15" rim because I will be sure to buy a set then.

I don't feel like arguing with you no more, just one point I want to make, the outlaw, was designed and tested by people in Louisiana. It has been around since hardly anyone knew about highlifter. When the outlaw was designed, they didnt design it as a muskeg tire because the designers never rode in muskeg. The tire was designed for paddling but not for mudskeg.

oh so you know the original designers of the outlaw mud tire and know them well enough to know they don't ride in muskeg and didnt build it for muskeg??? lol haha just buggin.. cool point, never knew that. regardless of wether it was made for muskeg or not its still the best muskeg tire. only based on its flatter profile..

#24 ·
I will not argue that point. For bottomless mud it is a great tire because of how well it paddles and believe me, the outlaw 2s paddle better than any other mud tire I've seen/rode. But in most applications a 32 back will beat a O2.

even with the added sidewall and more increased angled paddles? its more like a back now just with a flatter profile.. imo anyway.. but thats what i was talking about how a law 2 would be better for me and where i ride than a 32 back.. all skeg around here for the most part.. ive never even heard of a back making it further or doing better than laws around here.. thats why im in such disbelief with you ha..

gorilla and highlifter need to come together and make a gorilla outlaw 3 or a highlifter silverback 2... use the side lugs and flat profile of a law, use the back tread pattern and make the tire a 33 inches tall.. and only weigh 50 pounds for a 11 wide and 43 for a 9 skinny.. that my friend would be the ULTIMATE TIRE.. and make them for 12,14, and 15 inch wheels so everyone can get them..

No it is actually less like a back now. With the wider lugs, the lug spacing is decreased tremendously. Therefore causing a smoother ride and no dig. Also causing the tire not to clean out. With no spacing it is going to be harder to climb like a back.

people have been saying they clean just fine.. also the increased angle and more side lug would make it pull harder and better just like the backs... except more side lug on a law 2.. and yes better ride no doubt.. closer spacing no doubt but any 800 will clean them just fine. if you have a 650 or smaller you probably should only be running 28's unless you got a bunch of clutch work done

Yeah I had that backwards, they are more like a bak with the increased lug cup angle, but with the tighter spacing, the increased lug angle, the weight, it takes more speed to clean out. In thicker mud, they are hard to clean out. With the lug more cupped, it holds that mud rather than releases it. I've seen em cake.

i dont think ill have any problems cleaning them so i dont worry about that. and isnt the weight coming down so they will be lighter than a 32? i do agree tho they are tight spacing and dont really like that but its either the law 2 or 31's.. i think law 2's will and are gonna be better. and as far as thick mud goes, ya if your in some really nasty soupy thick mud your usually stuck anyway so cleaning them aint gonna matter when your winching out lol
