Called my dealer today to let them know my weep hole is leaking coolant and that I think the seal is bad. he told me this is "normal". im no mechanic but I believe the job of a seal is to seal it properly... taking it in next week and well see what he says. anyone have this much coolant coming out? my quad has 16hrs and 140km im not impressed

The water pump seal in these bikes is mechanical in nature, so some bypass/seepage is actually "normal"

Just keep an eye on it, see if the hose captures anymore. It prolly won't

X2 on what Bomb said. They do leak a little. They seem to leak a little extra when new and on cold mornings. Run it, if it gets worse then worry about it.

agree with both above on the weep hole. Lots of the seals will leak a slight bit in the winter its always best to wait till summer to see if its actually the seal, also when pressure washing don't hit directly on any of the seals a dirt greasy seal is a lot less likely to leak.
