Hey Everyone,

I'm looking at a winch for my '16 Outlander 570. I was looking at the Warn ProVantage 3500 or the Superwinch Terra 35. Anyone recommend one of the other? I'm gonna go with synthetic line no matter which I get.

Is warn really worth the additional cost?
Will the Terra fit(I have heard it doesn't on previous models)?

I've always ran Warn and have never had a problem. I'm not sure how the others are, but as long as my warn's continue to be trouble free, I'll keep spending the extra money on them. To me, the piece of mind is worth a few extra bucks. I have guys that I ride with that get cheaper brands and are always repairing or replacing them. Sometimes under warranty, sometimes not. I'd rather have one less part to worry about. :smilietwocents:

Motoalliance has some nice ones, I have a warn on the front and a Motoalliance on the rear. Both work great!

Moto Alliance has the Viper winches. Great winch for the money. My buddy has one on his xmr. I'd have one if my XT didn't come with one. I have had issues with the warns being able to turn to free spool after getting dirty.

I have a Warn (front) and MotoAlliance (rear) on my Polaris WV850. Used the Warn twice and the MA about 20 times. I have a ProVantage 3500 in hand, awaiting my Renegade to show up. Pricey, but I'm not doing a rear one and want it to be reliable. If I add a rear, I'll probably get another MotoAlliance Viper Max. Bottom line, if you have the dough, buy the Warn. If not, I wouldn't tell you to not buy the MA.

The terra is actually better built then the provantage acording to all the research ive been doing for my wife's sxs, id recomend taking a look at the viper elite series from motoalliance, can probably actually save a couple more bucks on them throuhh rvsperformance

Had a maverick with the warn 4500 pro vantage was on my third replacement before I sold the bike, probly not the winches fault though as the bike spent a lot of time being in mud and water, now we have two renegades with the terra 3500 and the terra 2500 with no issues so far, for me the lower cost was a plus for me as the warn wasn't lasting long with the riding I do, as I'm sure these won't either so at least there cheaper. My .02 cents

I have had both warn and kfi.... can am orders the warn winches without a brake on them so if you plow you will see your blade drop after being lifted up....the kfi i had was the stealth...awsome winch never let me down and had a brake. Synthetic rope was nice and it hooked right up to current warn cables and mount good luck!

I have also installed a KFI 3500 stealth and have nothing but good things to say. has been completely encased in mud and taken thru the car wash power sprayer multiple times and have not had a single problem.
