My quad is a 2016 outlander xmr 1000.winch goes out fine but have to press the in button multiple times to get it to winch in hearing a clicking sound when it doesn't go in.cleaned the connections at the winch solenoid and at the winch and still not working properly even after installing a new winch today.

Common problem when winch is used with plowing. Just replace solenoid. Get 500amps heavy duty solenoid.
