I did a deep dive on the various wiper delay options. There are multiple available options as have already been mentioned above.
Your results and opinions may vary, but here are mine observations and opinions, organized in one place for anyone considering adding the delay feature. Note I have not put my hands on any of these, and have made my observations from available advertised information and conversations with some of the vendors. Feel free to chime in if any of my information is incorrect.
Maxtronic control board - $28 USD. Complete DIY and least expensive option. Will require you to splice and wire yourself. Also would be beneficial to make some sort of enclosure box to protect the module.

HRU Designs - $250 USD. Complete plug and play. Does not require a second switch, instead adds a potentiometer knob. (it is clear that this kit uses the Maxtronic module above, in fact you can buy a harness from them for $85 if you choose to wire the maxtronic module yourself). Benefit If you prefer the original single wiper switch.
Introducing a fresh design from Hru Designs: the plug-and-play intermittent wiper delay module. This module connects seamlessly to your factory harness and connectors, enabling a delay range of 3 to 30 seconds for your intermittent wipers. One significant limitation of the Defender is that the...

KP offroad customs - $199 USD. Nice true plug and play kit. Requires adding a second switch, reasonable price point. Offers one delay duration (3 Sec on, 9 sec off) and constant-on. Benefit If you prefer the two switches.
Add some variety to the single speed OEM windshield wiper of your Can-Am Defender with the KP Offroad Customz Windshield Wiper Delay. The NEW Gen 3 Windshield Wiper Delay utilizes the factory wiring, OEM style connections and requires no special tools to install. The delay mode is set for 9 seconds

Eurotech Kit - $399 CAD ($283 USD). Nice kit that offers 3 different intermittent delay options (3, 6, 9 second delay), and constant-on. In my opinion pricey for what you are getting. Information on the website is limited, not sure if it is truly plug and play. Requires adding a second switch and a knob. Benefit If you prefer the two switches and a knob.

I will be ordering the HRU kit for the following reasons:
- Full plug and play and easily removed if needed.
- Requires adding just a small hole for addition of the potentiometer knob
- I prefer the factory single switch operation: Off (down), wiper constant on (middle) and washer (top - momentary). In my opinion it seemed weird and lunky to move the wash function to a second dedicated switch (as is the case with Eurotech and KP).
- The HRU kit gives you a wide range of delay options (3 - 30 seconds) by turning the potentiometer. Delay operation occurs when the factory contura switch is in the "off" (down) position. You can of course still shut off the wiper by turning the potentiometer all the way in one direction. Middle contura switch position overrides into constant on, and wash respectively.
I would have liked to have seen the HRU kit closer to the $200 price point.... but oh well they got me.
