XMR Power Issues

650 800 1000? my lights on the 100 stay on for a while after but not sure about the display

its the 1000. My lights stay on for awhile too but what i'm saying is i wait until they turn completely off and then if about a min or so the bike randomly turns itself back on.

Hey I had the same problem. Its water going inside key switch and it rust and shorts. Take the ignition switch appart and clean, die elec grease, reseal wth silicone and ur good to go

What Wellerd said is what i was thinking. Turning the kill switch off will turn the power off but still be good to fix the key switch.

I would think you have some green plague going on in the switch and bleeding voltage over or in a relay somewhere

unplug the switch and see if it still happens

Yes this same thing happen to me the dash is bright but not displaying anything but it has been doing this from day one

Key switches in the gen2 bikes for some reason get water in them. I've seen it alot.

Ur saying right where I stick my key in, water is getting in that hole and making my dash light up?

yes. take ur ignition apart and clean it . grease then seal

Um ok sweet but will I know where to apply both the dielectric and the silicone separately

yes die elec goes where the conection is and you will see its probly gona be green n rusty where it should be chrome or coper. and the silicone is where the 2 peaces come together
