They break off so easily. I replaced a couple but now leave them off (rear bumper). Looks fine to me.

There's a discussion thread on here somewhere about other owners' frustrations with them.

Here's one: http://www.can-amforum.com/forums/c...front-rear-bumpers-2012-outlander-1000xt.html

Another that might help you from replacing them over and over...and over: http://www.can-amtalk.com/forums/topic/32454-g2-xt-bumper-end-cap-saver/

Broke off my two in the first two hours of riding. Not worth getting them again imo.
EVERYONE breaks them!

I put bigger washers on and attached them multiple times crappy design period! lol

There was a guy making metal replacements (caps)
Go to your local bolt/nut shop. Take the end with you and find a fine thread machine screw that is tight threading in to the hole. I did this over a year ago when mine kept getting loose. I have not had any issues since.

Gorilla glue. Looks wacky , but they stay tight. However I do feel it will be a pain to get the glue completely off later on.
I cheated and had metal loops put in place of them.

Do you happen to have pics of it?
I am having troubles loading the pictures, but look in my albums and my wheeler is the black and red canam 1000xt
