I should add that we still need to add some insulation to the under bed tool box where the muffler is nearest and I'll knock some air venting holes to its as well after its top cover slightly warped this past winter. Also have a new winch roller setup for it.

I thought they had fix that issue with the shield that came stardard on newer rides, but I had to buy it for my 2015 model. (2) Attn: 6x6 owners | Can-Am ATV Forum (can-amforum.com)

I don't know how those older ones are setup but there is a heat shield between the toolbox and muffler on this one but it misses the front portion of TB. BRP did put reflective tape there but maybe it didn't reflect enough? I'll get pics.

I'm not sure how many ponies this 1000cc machines has (82?) but I'm not all that much into details like that but when we get a nice dump of fresh snow we can tootle along, pulling some implement along while the throttle is pegged at max. Towing in snow really does take HP.

My insulation is predicted to show up today and I've started into drilling some 1.25 holes to allow more air through. Any other other newish 6X6 owners have this grief?

I finally found the updated heat shields in these old posts. Ours of course does have the new shields as shown but our box started to melt above them.

You folks suggest this Warn faring and I finally got it installed yesterday. Its nice! View attachment 114409
What's the P/N on that? Isn't that suppose to help with the wear on your winch line when you use the winch with your plow? I don't have a plow but my brother does and I will give him that information.

I've been working on getting my light pole back onto this machine. its about 3ft tall, has a green strobe and LED lights rearwards and forward for plowing purposes. I'll post pics asap..
