You get what you pay for.

 

A good friend of mine has them on a Grizzly 550 and he is very pleased with them. Seem to do well all around. Not spectacular in the mud but not a true mud tire.

 

Had a set of Artrax on my 500 they were a good tire esp for the price which ones are you looking at I had the MDX's

Does anyone have any experience with these? Thinking of putting a set on my 650.

I had them (25's) on my 650 Kawi last year.. they were a great all around tire..probably 30% MORE ribs than the MAXXIS. and SIX PLY..all around

I ordered and got the new ones for my '13 Outlander 650.. Havent put them on yet..machine is sleeping for the Winter but anticipate some great riding next Spring with them.

They are 26' s like the OEM Carlisles but 1" WIDER front and rear.

Take a look at the Duro power grips from Rocky Mountain big horn copy but a radial have had two sets I like them and good price

 

A friend had a set and they were junk after one ride. I guess it depends on how hard you ride and the terrain you ride in. We have a lot of sharp rock. With almost 7000 miles on my machine the best tire I have run so far are the kenda htr. Same friends son put a set on the rear of his ltr and blew them out in just a couple of laps. They bought them because of the cheap price. They may work good for some but not for how and where we ride. Not starting an argument just letting you know we didn't have much luck with them

 

which tires you talking about the Artrax? Are they not 6 ply you would think the side wall would hold up

 

Yes the atrax. They didn't hold up at all on either his outlander or his sons ltr

 

Like I said I wasn't posting to argue about tires. I posted my experiance with them. I wouldn't buy a set crime what Iv see of them you may not ride like we do again just posted our experiance with them glad they work for you.

 

L never tried the CTX's I did have a set of the other MDX's on my 500 I did like them but it was on my Max and thats my family machine so im no real rough with it like I am with my Renegade
