My friend just told me that at so local races last year the arctic cat 1000 was radar ed at 76mph and it was the fastest.

Like stated above.
Stock the Outlander and Renegade hit the rev limiter at 125kph. The XMR stops at 105 kph

that's all they will do and they are limited to that speed electronically.
without the limiter, piped and tuned renegade 1000 I suspect will do 85-88mph realistic top speed maybe more?? it hits 77 mph in about 10-12 seconds on my machine.
My kfx700 with 240 rwhp 1000cc's and gt22 turbo hits 108 mph in 6 seconds in the 8th mile. you don't want to go much faster than that but it easily can.

My 1000 does 64 mph in 450' launching out of a hole I've dug. 1/4 mile is 1320 feet so speed limiter 78 in 1/4 mile easily.
This is an old thread. But these days you really want to go fast, got a friend that has a CF Moto 800 that I have ridden well over 80mph. And that is 100% stock.
I've come close to 100km on the road but it was pretty terrifying. I for sure wouldn't want to go any faster.
