So my husband and I just bought a new Commander DPS series in May and heard a sound like breaking glass and lost my steering on the side by side. I will say I am a 50 year old woman and my husband is 52 and takes care of his things. Yes, we have taken it through mud, no, we have not ramped, jumped or other wise bounced through holes like Tigger the tiger in a Pooh movie. We dont grift, drift, do donuts or otherwise act crazy on the side by side. We came up a knoll to cross the road going to our house, crossed a small ditch line (you can ride a riding mower over and through it) heard breaking glass sound and then lost steering causing us to hit a tree in the front yard (not hard), but enough to crack the plastic. The collision was a post action of the sound and loosing steering. Anyone have issues with this and advice on whether they will fix it or not.
We have noticed that the floor of the Can-Am heats up ...alot!!!! but we were told that Can Am was known for that. A front end issue was never issues, but I have noticed that several earlier models indicated a front end issue and wondered if there was still an issue.
