Not sure what you could do. Maybe the aftermarket guys will produce something different? Or recommend the added wind guards to the bottom as an accessory to change the looks?

 

check the BRP site and build the bike. Does it show the one you want as an accessory?

 

Father in law just bought an Outlander Max XT G3L 700. He doesn’t like the new windshield that just mounts to the pod. Is there anyone out there that has one, or has access to one and a windshield from a G2 that they can try? Maybe someone on here that works at a dealer. I’m fairly confident that the Deluxe windshield won’t fit, as it mounts to the bends on the handlebars. They changed the part number for the handlebars on the G3L compared to the G2. I’m wondering if the standard windshield will fit, as it mounts similar to the hand guards. I will attach a picture of the 2 windshields. If none of this works, I do have a set of handlebars from a G2 XT that I am not using. I can swap handlebars for him if he really wants to run the G2 windshield.

Just need to clarify the model name/# of the windshield you wound up using please. I’ve ordered a ‘24 Outlander XT 700 max that’s arriving next week and want to get this for mine, the one intended for the G3 is plain ugly!

I use the extra high windshield with my Deluxe Fairing. Blocks the wind, rain, and snow much better. By the way, that Deluxe Fairing bolts right up to a G1 machine too!

 

Ya I have a 2024. It’s says on the web it won’t fit, but you seemed to find a way.

 

it fits no modifications required everyone out my way is running my set up I was the 1st one in Newfoundland Canada to buy this bike and the dealer agreed to let me try it no charge. Now even the bikes on there showroom floor have the G2 set up like mine.

It fits no modifications needed. same handle bars on all models and it mounts to the bars

Put it on my 25 - Pro XU HD7, with the short windshield.

No issues but did move / rotate the LH brake lever abit to give a bit more room.

I just picked up a new 2025 max 1000rxt and I ordered the tall windshield for it, but it is back ordered and I won't have it until April. I also have the tall windshield on my 2013 G2 max and it is good at keeping the rain and snow off but I don't know that I would go to the trouble to try and adapt it to the new machine.
