I have the 10.25 display on my sled, I get my bike end if month. I can look an see if it would plug in.

 

Would love that. Please any and all pics will help. Also how do you like the screen for functionality?
Does it need internet for the maps. Does your phone connect easily.?

I participated in a survey on having the screen on the Outlanders a couple years ago. Wanted to know what functions I would like to have.

 

I am going to now say it probably can not be done, nobody has done it on a sled yet an by sounds of it you need to have access to budds software an re flash ecm if you were to try it.

 

I would say it could be done, I doubt they have a different ecm and special wiring harness. May require it to be turned on with Buds, but that’s about it. Would need screen, pod and maybe an external gps antenna. At least that’s the hope. Would have been great to have on the xtp also

 

I got pix of the 10.25 display and my 25xmr can't be done, 2 completely different wire plugs.

 

Now I'm curious what the **** is behind the display on the max with the screen. My only guess at this point is the harness is the same. But here's the thing. Not sure if the screen pt # is the same on a max or a snowmobile which shares the same screen. It'd very hard to imagine they created different screens for different models. But more so that the models which share that snap and lock style connector have the same connectors on their harness .

Only way we can check is by searching up the pt number on a different unit like the snowmobile screen and seeing if it varies.

 

if its same as the sleds, which I would bet it is, the screens will be same I'm sure, you will not be able to just plug in screen unless you get complete wire harnesses from the max and then hook to buds and program the max software. guys have tried on sleds and nobody has accomplished it that I know of.

 

had a look an 2 different part numbers from the sled to atv gauge and there also is the 10.25 on the street bikes, but it don't show plugs. anyhow it's pricy. not worth it in my mind especially after having the big gauge on my sled. and the trail and gps system is horrible.

 

oh ya I also forgot also would need the whole left switch assembly that controls the screen. lol.
