I went up a size. This is exactly what I ran

Kenda Bear Claw HTR

26x11R12 (rear)$138 ea
26x9R12 (front) - $125 ea

I have fender extenders & had to shave a little of of the outer skirt so they didn’t rub when I compressed the rear over jumps.

they do not hit any stock plastics

I have a Renegade buddy that just bought some Elka Stage 3's. He has the same color and 1000R as me. Told him to send me pictures when he gets them installed. If and when I do this I was thinking of selling my stocks for $100.00 a piece. Or selling them on FB Marketplace. These stock ones I have kind of suck...
Yes I agree those shocks are worthless. Any type of aggressive riding and your well pass the limits. Between shocks, bead locks, and tires you’re going to be 3000 in the hole.
Do you have a beautiful machine. Flip it and go right for an XXC 1000R

New here and new sorta new to quads. I’m a vet NETRA racer, so I do understand properly setting up a machine. I’m currently setting up my new ‘22 xxc1000r with some stuff from Cecco, HMF, RVS, etc… my question is… is anyone using a thick walled aluminum stock for the through frame reinforcement on these machines or is steel the way to go? Thanks for any advice! BTW, I’m in central CT and looking to get out and ride! All my buddies are dirt bike guys, so I need to find some more riding buddies. Have “some” trails around here, but have trailer and will travel! Might even give a XC race a try this summer.

I’m in CT also.
Haven’t heard of frame problems on the G2 chassis. Reinforcements never hurt, but none of us have done it because we’ve been ok.
We are aggressive riders but don’t air it out jumping. I save that stuff for the Banshee lol

Thanks for the reply! That’s good to know you haven’t had any trouble with the frames. I see all the xc guys seem to at least do the lower frame mod. It’s seems an easy mod so I’ll probably just do it. I know almost every good area in CT for single track because of my NETRA affiliation. Do you guys ride in CT or go north?

Edit: I’m not really interested in airing out a machine this heavy either. I’ll save that for the Husqvarna tx 300

Both, we ride in CT, MA, NH & ME

send me a link to the frame mod if you have one
