Renegade won't start

Hi, my renegade will not start. When i turn the key on and hit the start button, I hear one click coming from near the gas tank. This is what i have done to try to fix the problem. Bought a new battery, checked all the fuses, checked the starter, checked most of the grounds. When i take a jumper cable directly from the battery to the starter, the machine will start. I am not sure i have found all the grounds, and i have yet to get the relays checked out.

Any ideas?

Could be the key, have you got a spare one to try?

Starter Relay (solenoid) probably? Diodes blown or installed backwards? Do you have it in Park and pressing on the foot brake?

Do you have a service manual? I'm looking through one for you now.

EDIT: Here is Troubleshooting from my manual. - But it truely sounds like it's your Starter Solenoid, if you hear it click but not spin the starter. Temp fix would be to just carry a way to short out the solenoid for now so you can still ride it. I use the head of large channel locks.

My 2011 800 renegade is turning over and getting gas but wont start, HELP!! Ive checked the fuses under the front hatch, can call me at 318-332-3575, ran fine yesterday and went to move it today and it will not start!

wont start

mine is also turning over but wont start. would it still turn over if the key went bad? Or would it still turn over if the kill switch went bad. I would think either case would not allow the motor to turn over, any ideas. This started happening when i was in water up to my foot pegs.
