no, its not a dealer only item. meaning some sell it..
you can get the aftermarket as well - just depends if the dealer is near you and is willing to sell it. If so ...get it from them
If not ...go to hardware store or amazon and get it there.
The amazon one works - tried it on my friends when his swing arm tore apart.

i have heard 1 for a chev will work as well. i havnt tried it but there is a video on youtube (swingarm bearing)where the mechanic says you can get it from BRP or chevy has that size too. may be cheaper??

This is what I used, I had to grind off the spaces in between the pins. Those will need to be flat.

I did this because it was quick, didn't have to leave town to get my swing arm off.

 

Hey guys looking for some advice I have a set of renegade xxc trailing arms im getting to install on my 2008 outlander. Ive got the tool for removing the inner nut and the different levers as can-am calls them, so as far as I know im ready to make the switch. Just wanting to get some last minute advice before I attempt this in the next few days. The do's, donts, and any other advice will be greatly appreciated
