So your primary keeps coming off? Are you torquing it to 74ft lbs, and your keeping the taper fit areas clean and dry right? (brake cleaner) Your bolt should have a thick and a thin washer, the thin washer is the one touching your primary, and thick is touching the bolt head, right?

 

He's talking about the secondary if it's the pulley on the "transmission" probably meaning gearbox.

You have to make sure your helix is in the splines because if its not you can tighten it all you want but the first good shot of gas the secondary helix will sit down in those splines taking the pressure off your bolt and the first time you let off the gas, there goes your secondary. I've seen it happen.

Upgrade it to a STM secondary, it's a self contained system so the spring is not pushing on the bolt.

 

I guess When he says Main Shaft and transmission... those terms mean Primary to me.. haha
