What would you like to see in 2013?

I would like to see an Outlander X XC 1000!...
I would of bought one but I was forced to buy a Renegade! I'll miss my racks alot but I wasn't doing without the suspension this time.

What do you think they should pull out of the Can-Am basket for next year???
(I hope they're listening!)

a xmr shorty with 11 wides as rears and 9's in front.. not all 9's...

heated handgrips come stock with every bike.. no reason why this shouldnt allready happen

make the seat seal better so it dont get waterlogged.. has to be a way

stiffer stock suspension for the new outtys

a renegade mr.. would be cool

delete the air ride.. period..

better clutching.

for the outty and reny to somehow drop 30 pounds in weight

and a cup holder for my beer when im puttin around :)

Xmr version of the short outlander

Factory dual exhaust

Split lever braking on handlebars like those found on brutes.

Push Button locker for front diff ( push a button and have fully locked 4x4, otherwise regular visco)

Standard HID lights

Bigger wheel openings to fit bigger
tires without having to move floor boards or cutting fenders

Spin on type oil filter

to come with snorkles to the pod on ALL models of outlanders as a standard.. whether you mud or not... its just nice to know... i don't mud alot but i hit the hole every now and then. i think the exhaust is way too low stock for how much we pay for these things

A higher gear wouldnt do much on a vehicle with CVT. What would be nice would be a CVT setup for road application or at least a option to buy it(other springs, weights, helix etc) and a non EBC option.
I would also like to see more LEDs both for tail lights and for driving lights. I also really miss fender bags! Why cant BRP make some nice looking zipper less fenderbags?
A lowering kit with road legal tires would also be a nice touch for the EC market. Im a bit suprised that BRP has not equiped the Ec street models with road legal tires.

Lose the air suspension
Vent the xMR snorkels higher and regular models where the xMR is now
Dual exhaust
Ability to shut off the power steering
Ability to mount plow without having to remove skid plate.

I'd just like to have all of the Can Am models available at the start of the model year. That way I could go to the dealership and look at a yellow Outlander, a black one, a camo one, and a magnesium metallic one, and pick the color I like best. The way Can Am does it now, with yellow Outlanders in August, black ones in September, camo in November, etc, just drags things out forever. With my lack of patience I'm likely to just go across the street and buy a Polaris XP 850.

The G2 frame on all models. Yes a spin on oil filter would be nice. DPS on all models with the option to shut off. All with the xmr snorkel setup. I like the idea of push button full diff lock then normal visco otherwise that would be sweet!

power steering in the commander and a better steering system that can handle bigger tires, thats all thats stopping me from owning one, I had planned on picking one up this year and bang the release the ltd no real upgrades, I can and will build a better stereo than that ltd one and could care less the color, I will probably hydro dip it anyway like I did my rhino

more ground clearance or an easy way to get more ground clearance
a dual exhaust that comes out each side, not stacked or side by side
but out the left and right side of the rear
a better design to the prop shaft, Id like for it to be straight not at an angle
move the brake light to a place it wont get broken when trail riding

give me room to put some snorkles on it if your not going to do it right, a 1.5 " intake on a 1000 is not getting the job done so at least leave me room to do it right without a complete redesign of the intake system

and that maintinance soon light, who really pays attention to that anyway, knock it off already with that or let me clear it myself

- lose 100lbs (more aluminum in frame)
- 14" RIMS!
- a reset for the " Maintenance Soon " in the dash without going to see the dealer
- outlander X Xc 1000
- A SPORTY SIDE BY SIDE!!... like they did with the Renegade, NO UTILITY ALL KICK ASS!
- Spin-on oil filter
- Better primary and secondary clutches
- A clock in the dash would be nice too
- DUAL EXHAUST!!!!!

A bit bigger wheel well for larger tires, trimming plastic for 28" tires sucks.
A bit higher snorkel situation
STOP THE CRAP WITH THE MAINTENANCE SOON LIGHT
Have accessories ready with the new models, get a jump on aftermarket you idiots
Have parts at the dealers, none have them
Fix the comfortability of the seat and my sticks to it.

the dealer part thing is a dealer issue not a can am issue
my dealer keeps the parts I need on the shelf
I can go there today, get a set of cam chains, guides, rods, valves etc off the shelf

This is just my top 20....


1. Outlander X XC 1000
2. XMR 1000
3. MAX 1000
4. XMR shorty with 11 wides as rears and 9's in front.
5. Heated hand/thumb grips come stock with every bike
6. HPG 2-way shcoks instead of what they use now.... (ABSOLUTE MUST!)
7. Renegade XMR
8. Split lever braking on handlebars
9. HID lights (or maybe some type of LEDS, even if only in back)
10. Bigger wheel openings to fit bigger tires without having to move floor boards or cutting
fenders (ABSOLUTE MUST!)
11. Spin on type oil filter

13. Dual exhaust? (side x side not over/under)
14. Mirrors?

17. 14" Rims at least as an option.
18. Sportier side x side (like popo and Acat are doing already)
19. More color options *more so refering to the fact that in 2011 they didnt have all black whereas in 2012 they now do but i wasnt happy buying a yellow one, almsot bought a XP850 due to that fact alone* "painted and non-painted" (ABSOLUTE MUST!)
20. BRP aluminum skids should come stock on all machines, not plastic.

My dealer doesnt even have any wheel lugs. Imagine the dealer taking the tire off during maintenance and one breaks, easy to do, and you have to wait for that part to be ordered and come in. And yes, I would expect accessories to be available for bikes they sell or at least maintenance parts.

The Max is coming for next year.
The number ONE thing I would like to see is an ECU that can self tune for modifications. Add an exhaust or motor mods and not have to spend 400 bucks or more for PC III or PCV, then have to spend another 400 or more to tune it all.
