It is. I was at the dealer today. They sold the one the guy was talking to me about last week, (limited) but it HAD the power bed. The Limited comes with it in the 6x6 due to the big 6 ft bed. The base model does not. I was looking at a regular (4 wheel) Limited and it WAS super nice, but it was TOO nice. The doors sealed so well when I closed them you could tell the cab was air tight.

I'm sure that's real cool for keeping dust out and all, but I don't need to spend an extra 10 grand to have a work & play machine that's nicer than my every day truck... I'd be too scared to get the stupid thing dirty... lol. At least I made my mind up. Base model it is. Still has the big engine, the 6x6, the big bed...

After I left the dealer, I went over to the Badlands Off Road Park (Attica IN) and rode some trails for a while on my 20+ year old quad bike... and I was NOT afraid to get it muddy. Now I can't wait to get my retirement so I can go buy me a 6x6 Defender.

Not for me... I've decided to go with either the DPS, or the XT. I just need a more base level machine. Also, once my retirement back pay comes in, I'll be strolling into the stealership with a giant wad of $100 bills cash, so I think I should be in a position to get them to come down a bit.

Probably just have it all in an envelope in an inside jacket pocket like the bad guys do on TV. That way when I pull it out and plunk it down on the sales desk I can get the big reaction... lol.

With regard to the power dump- Ah, I didn’t realize you were looking at the 6x6 model.

With regard to walking in with cash- in my experience those days of negotiating with cash are long gone. Cash is of no interest to dealers, walking in with a check or cash is the same to them. Often times they make more money on a finance deal anyway, so there isn’t much incentive for them to “deal” on cash. But I hope your results vary.
 
$37K for the Defender Limited! Crazy! 😲

No freakin way I'd pay that. Guess I'll be holding on to my 2017 Defender until the wheels fall off! lol
I'm not sure where you are seeing this pricing. But the Limiteds are not selling at that price. Do some dealers advertise them at that price, probably with a bunch of installed accessories... yes.

Generally speaking Defender Limited 2 door is about $27k and Max (4 door) is a couple thousand more. Pricing can be had for better or worse from there. It saves to shop around and get pricing from multiple dealers.
 
I just purchased a 2024 Defender Limited. Year-end dealer motivation to move 24’ models coupled with the manufacturer incentives (rebate and 2 yr warranty for ag buyer), it was hard to pass up the considerable savings over a 2025 model. Additionally I personally preferred not having the window tint, and wanted the gray color that is no longer offered in 2025.


I found the part numbers for the 2025 door seals from an online parts catalog and confirmed with my dealer’s parts department that they were the correct part numbers.

They quoted me about $56 for each door seal, but said they were not yet available from CanAm for purchase. As soon as they are available I plan to purchase a set and see if they are a direct swap (I’m having a hard time seeing why they wouldn’t be).

The 2025 door lock upgrade (no drill) is also available as a kit in the can am parts catalog. I didn’t take note of the part number because I’m not interested in door locks on my machine. I’m my opinion door locks just mean a broken window or door handle if someone really wants in.
2025 Door Seal Update:
After checking with my original dealer several times, they kept telling me that they still cannot order the door 2025 door seals. I finally decided to call another dealer just to see if I was getting the run around. Dealer #2 said that they are able to submit an order for the door seals, but CanAm has a submission process that requires you to provide your unit's Vin number and mileage. My dealer said it is because CanAm's parts inventory is low so they are requiring this extra step to release fulfillment of certain parts. I provided my info and it sounds like they are moving forward with fulfilling my order.
Long story short if a dealer is not helpful and doesn't give you the answers you want... try another dealer who is more willing!

Did you end up getting those 2025 door seals? I’d love to get some thicker oem seals.

I ended up buying a 25, the seals look identical to my 23 visual appearance... my 23 was smashed a lil from use, but they appear to be the same, if they are different its not enough I'd worry with changing them.

id bet they are not the same. A look from afar they seem the same, but if you look at them closely the are different. The 25’ seals, seal particularly better in the top rear corners and have extended flanges near the door latch. I could see daylight with the 24’ seals, that is not the case with the 25’ seals. And I made no adjustments to my doors.

That’s great! I’d prefer to just replace the stock door side weather stripping than put on weather stripping on the frame side that shores up the difference. On the frame side they keep getting stepped on and come lose.
