I'll get pictures of both when I get back home for further examination.
Unless someone changed out your 23’ seals I assure you they are different.

However, I understand if you feel the 23’ seals are sufficient. I can tell you in my case the 24’ seals were generally ok. The only time I got water in the cab was when washing the machine spraying water horizontally. The main reason I wanted the improved seals was for dust. When riding in very dusty conditions a gap in those doors will pour dust into the cab big time.

Very easy, just pull the old ones out and press the new ones in. Start with the top rear corner and then lightly set each of the other corners. Then follow up by pressing them in all the way around. Your fingers might be a little sore by the end because it does take some effort.

I believe all the year model seals suck, even the ones on my 25, but thats not a deal maker or breaker for me. I have gaps in the same spots on my 25 that my 23, and my 22.5 had.

I'll get pictures of both a 24 and a 25 and we can all see them installed side by side, maybe they are a touch different that wasn't enough for me to really visually see.

My 19 has locking handles my dads newer 22 ish doesn’t don’t know why they went away from locking doors: whenever out hunting my dad can’t leave anything in cab in fear it may grow feet seams you could by something to lock it

2025 Model year got tinted windows, upgraded door seals and locking handles.

You can buy the 2025 door handles with the locks and they will fit prior years. I know they will fit 2024, not sure about 22-23’.

Personally I have no interest in door locks on my defender. I prefer a thief open my door instead of break the handle or a window. Also, I wouldn’t leave anything of value inside of it for these reasons.

Yup. These machines are not secure, regardless of a lock or not. Parked at home, camp, a trailhead or 12 miles from camp in BFE, they're gonna get in if they want.

Any chance you had a chance to take some pics and can post?

I actually just did

So I stand corrected, they are a tad different. Not much though. Not enough that I caught it with out side by side comparison.

My opinion, there's not enough difference there to make much matter.

But, I was wrong, they are a Lil different, so I guess if you think they are worth buying then thats a personal opinion.

Hope this helps everyone out with their decisions one way orthe other!

I just took another look at my front door seals vs the pic of the 25 seals and the 25s seem much thicker. Theres a potential postal strike starting soon, but if that doesn’t take place I’ll be ordering these seals. Pretty pumped!

Same thing I thought when I first seen em, but i realized mine had started to mash flat from wear and me adjusting my doors.

I don't think they are actually thicker, but mostly flaps added for extra sealing in certain areas.

But hopefully they'll be better than what you have now.

Fingers crossed! Thanks again for the pics!
