I currently have 2 issues with my outlander 400 2007 model.
It starts and runs great. But the fan doesnt come on until the machine is, in my opinion too hot. And it only runs for a short period.
I have checked the fan, its working, i have checked the sensor, its working. I have also replaced the radiator sensor. And still the issue persists.
When the machine gets too hot, it starts to idle real high. I have also changed the rubber intake that connects the carb to the engine as i thought that was the reason. Now im not too sure. Is this a known issue on the 2004-2008 outlanders? I have also cleaned the carb for good measure. Previous owner said this is normal for the machine, and he usually just takes a break while IE plowing.
